We encourage you to get the "$crip Habit." Use it for basic need such as groceries, as well as for most of your other shopping, and gift giving. There is no easier way to contribute anything from 1% to 13% of your purchases to benefit your parish ... and it costs you only a few minutes of time to buy the $crip.
To print a copy of the $crip Order Form click on the button
above. To view the order form you will need to have Adobe Reader
downloaded onto your computer. If you need to download the free reader go
to:
.
You can then return the filled in form to the Rectory Office or give to the
$crip volunteer after each weekend Mass. A Scrip volunteer is also in the
Rectory Office on Thursday afternoons from 3:00 to 5:00 to fill your $crip
needs. Special orders are processed on Monday morning and are ready to be
picked up on Thursday of the same week.
Although we can't possibly carry cards / certificates for all participating merchants, we thought you might be interested in knowing about some of the merchants for which we can special order. They include, but are not limited to : Quiznos Subs, Finishing Line Sporting Goods, Circuit City, Amazon.com, LL Bean, Linens & Things, Pier I Imports, Radio Shack, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, American Eagle Outfitters, Old Country / Hometown Buffet, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Service Master, Dick's Sporting Goods, Staples, Lowe's Home Improvement, Lands End, and Eddie Bauer.
Hundreds of other merchants are involved in the $crip program. You can view a complete list at www.glscrip.com and click on "Retailers" ...or ask the scrip volunteer; we have just a couple of copies of the complete retailer list in the $crip box.
Scrip Tuition Credit
The IRS now allows grandparents, relatives, and friends to help school families with tuition costs through $crip purchases. To help a family with tuition, just write their name instead of yours at the bottom of the order form. Tuition credit available to families is 2.5% of the amount of $crip purchases during the preceding school year. (Note: Tuition credit cannot be allowed for Kmart, Best Buy, Citgo, Exxon/Mobil, Web/Pro, and certain merchants where the discount is 2.5% or less.)
