DISCONNECTION FROM THE INTERNET AFTER SENDING/RECEIVING MESSAGES

When in Outlook Express, click on the word TOOLS, then click on OPTIONS. In the Options window, click on the CONNECTION tab. If there is a checkmark in front of the phrase "Hang up after sending and receiving," click on the checkmark to remove it. Then click on APPLY and OK to close the window.

UNABLE TO OPEN E-MAIL ATTACHMENTS IN OUTLOOK EXPRESS

When in Outlook Express, click on the word TOOLS, then click on OPTIONS. In the Internet Options window, click on the SECURITY tab. If there is a checkmark in front of the sentence "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus," click on the checkmark to remove it. Then click on APPLY and OK to close the window. You should now be able to view all attachments.
